Does your computer often shut down for no
reason? Become slow after only a few hours of being on? Freeze up allot? You
may think its your computer that is causing this but in most cases its not. So
its not necessarily your computer or even a virus. It could just be the summer
heat. Heat is one of the computers enemies. The cooler your computer is, the
better it runs. What make it do this when its hot? Well the extra heat and
humidity gets into the microscopic transistors inside your computers
components (such as the video card, sound card, harddrive and processor)
and breaks down the communication between them. This can become annoying
having to save your work after a few minutes. Well how do I fix this? One good
step toward fixing this is to reboot your computer often. In the short time
the computer restarts allows the computers processor time to cool down and
rest. Another thing you can do to help it is find some heat lowering solutions
from your computer maker (Gateway, Dell, ect.) or

the Norton Utilities 2002. It's great.. they are
on sale now at the Surfmore office for $45.00 installed
and configured, just bring your tower in for the install and first
service on your computer.. it tells you and fixes all problems with your pc..
you would be amazed at the problems you thought your perfect computer actually
has.. on this computer we had 1 file missing, could not find which file was
missing, we ran the disk, which we found out we had 350 small errors, where we
deleted stuff, sent to recycle bin and so on, but some of the stuff was still
in the computer, after running the disk it fixed 349 errors and told us which
file we needed for our other problem.. anyway.. I'm sold!! Jean
