Thank God for friends
Who truly do care.
Thank God for all His tender mercies
With each of us to share.

Friends truly are a blessing
Each and every one.
They are sent to help us
Until this life is done.

Never let us take them for granted
A gift from the Father of Love.
Let us always be grateful
To our Wonderful God above.

There will finally come a day when our Best Friend Jesus
Will take all our heavy burdens and cast them all away.
We will be allowed to live with Him in heaven
With no burdens today or anyday.
