Taco Soup

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 can red kidney beans, undrained
1 can hot chili beans, undrained
1 can stewed tomatoes, chopped
1 large can tomato sauce
2 or more c. water
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 small can chopped green chilies
1 can whole kernel corn, drained

Brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Add kidney
beans, chili beans, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water,
taco seasoning mix and chilies. Heat half an hour. Add the
corn. Continue heating until well blended. Serve with taco chips,
shredded cheese and a spoon of sour cream on top, if desired.

Taco Soup

1 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion
2 16 ounce cans beans; chili, red, or kidney beans
16 ounce can cream style corn, whole kernel works well
16 ounce can diced tomatoes
16 ounce can of rotel type tomatoes
1 1/2c water
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix (I have used the dressing)

Cook beef until browned in a large pan. Saute onion and garlic.
Drain the grease from the beef and add remaining ingredients.
Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Makes 3 1/2 quarts of soup.
